We'll cover the very basics of quilting through a 4 week series.  You will learn the fundamental basics of how to properly and safely use your quilting tools & equipment needed for measuring, cutting, and piecing.  In this class, we'll put together 3 basic quilt blocks where you will learn proper piecing, seam allowance, as well as ironing and pressing, squaring and sizing techniques.  This 3 block table runner will be pieced together with setting triangles, to help any beginner quilting with understanding what you need to do and why.  You'll then be able to use these basic skills in thousands of future quilting projects!

Beginner Sewing

Never used a sewing machine, this is the class fot you.  This three part class covers all the basics of sewing as you make a pair of louge/pajama pants. You will learn the parts of a sewing machine, notions needed for sewing, how read a garment pattern, how to cut fabric and how to sew.

Alterations Basics

This is a basic alterations class that expands your knowledge from beginner sewing.  Learn how to do buttons, buttonholes, hem blue jeans, and zipper replacement.

Binding 101
Binding 101

This is a basics binding class for beginners.  Have a quilt or project you just finished that needs bound?  Learn to make your own binding, and how to sew it onto your quilt.  Then learn how to connect the two ends.  This is a 2 hour hands on class, to learn all your binding basics!  Please bring a quilted project with several corners, along with the fabric you will use to make your binding.

Beginner Quilting II

This class is a continuation of Beginner Quilting I or a class for people who want a refresher course in quilting methods as you make what could be your first quilt.  Learn proper measuring and piecing techniques, how to appply borders properly, and how to match up your seams!  This fun class is over 5 weeks, we go slow, to focus on technique!

This is a basics binding class for beginners.  Have a quilt or project you just finished that needs bound?  Learn to make your own binding, and how to sew it onto your quilt.  Then learn how to connect the two ends.  This is a 2 hour hands on class, to learn all your binding basics!  Please bring a quilted project with several corners, along with the fabric you will use to make your binding.

Panel Colorization

This coloring class teaches you to paint on fabric.  Learn how to do color depth and have fun.  Feel like a kid again!  (We are not responsible for lack of artistic talent! LOL)

This is a fun class to use some of your border fabric!   This will work with any border fabric about 8" wide.  Use cordinating fabrics to make the stars, or you can use layer cakes.

Disappearing 9 Patch

This is a fun quilt for a beginners or novices because you can easily change the difficulty of it with the pattern you choose.  There are several variations of this quilt, we will look on the internet first, and choose a design.  everyone can do something different!

Wedding Ribbon

This intermediate to advance class is great just before bridal season.  You will learn how to make the block components to this ribbon quilt.  There will be homework!
